Relaxation is vital to sustaining well-being, reducing stress and integrating the mind, brain and body after situations when caring for others. Relaxation can improve how we perceive, act and experience.
There are many forms of relaxation; Some find reading relaxing, others like to go fishing, walking along the beach, having a massage, walking through a rainforest, sailing, knitting, creating, observing and more.
In this element, you will be introduced to three forms of relaxation: Progressive muscle relaxation, coherence breathing and meditation.
It is when we give ourselves permission, to pause, to find a space or a quiet place, to just be, to let go, just for a moment, we can relax.
