Mindfulness is about suspending, just for a moment, and observing, without judgement or expectation. It is through this suspension and conscious awareness that we free the mind, balance the body and facilitate presence. Simply ‘being’ in these moments, fully aware, pleasant or unpleasant, we feel, learn, express, find an equilibrium and we grow.
To live fully, we must be present. Presence facilitated using mindfulness, is about ‘being’ rather than doing, it is resting in conscious awareness, in the moment, fully aware, moment by moment. It is in these moments of real presence that we are truly alive.
